Goodread's Giveaways

If you've ever entered a giveaway you've probably been excited, only to be let down almost immediately. And then upset when you found out the winner was a famous blogger/YouTuber/model/whatever it is that makes them famous. Because nowadays it feels like the little person hardly ever wins. 

And to be honest, I used to think the same way. Until Goodread's happened. 

If you didn't know, Goodread's is an app that allows book nerds from all over to get together and discuss books, take book quizzes, write reviews, ask questions, etc., all via the Internet. 

And they host giveaways all of the time.

I just recently discovered their giveaway section about a week or two ago and immediately entered thirty or so. I NEVER thought I would win, and I never expected anything to come of it. But?, today when I came home from work, Inoticed a package that I wasn't expecting. And there sitting inside was A BRAND NEW BOOK. And ohemgee, I almost had a heart attack because it was WENDY DARLING. A book I KNEW I wanted to read as soon as I laid eyes on it. 

To enter their giveaways all you have to do is: 

-sign up for free to be a member onGoodread's. Easy. 

 -go under the browse tab and click on "giveaways." Easy. 

-look through thousands of books that you might want to enter and choose as many as you like. Surprisingly difficult. (It's a little overwhelming, like my heart can't take it.)

-select enter giveaway. And choose address, or enter a new one. Easy. 

-agree to the terms and conditions and add to your to-read shelf. 

-DONE.
