Monstress follows a teenage girl who after losing her arm, discovers that she and a terrible monster are connected. She must fight to set free others who look deformed, or "monster-like" after they are taken and held captive.
I absolutely loved all of the minor/extra characters. Specially Kippa and Master Ren were my faves and I loved seeing them. The characters are a combination of creepy and cute, both in personalities and looks. At times the story would become extremely creepy due to the dual-nature of the characters and the actions they would take.
The art was beautiful and the story interesting, if a little bit confusing at times. There were often times that there was so much detail in the art, and it is something that stands out as being original.
I will definitely be continuing on with the series.
