”People don’t change. They just get better at hiding who they are.”
Told partially through Sadie’s perspective, and partly through a podcast, Sadie is a story of a girl who delves into a road trip to find out who killed her sister.
Sadie is a tough read. And it’s tough because it’s real. And it’s raw. It’s awful to think that something like this could happen to a young girl. But at the same time the combination of the writing style and the fast-paced of the story makes it easy to read.
This won’t be for everyone, but I’m still glad someone told Sadie’s story, and The Girls’ story too.
