The Cruel Prince Review

If I cannot be better than them, I will become so much worse.

Why do I still have half a year before the sequel!!! 

The writing is lush and beautiful, but not overly so. The story is compelling and original enough that there seems to never truly be a dull or slow moment. And the characters have depth and make unexpected decisions that further the plot in some way, or will effect them later on. 

Overall, a well-written book, and I can’t wait to read the next in the series.
